We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated State Tested Nursing Assistant to join our team. As a State Tested Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to patients in various healthcare settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals in need of medical assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment
Qualifications:
- Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant certification
- Experience in providing care to children, seniors, or individuals requiring home care
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
- Familiarity with hospital procedures and discharge planning
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques
