Job Summary
The Physical Therapy Technician is a non-professional, non-licensed worker who has completed an on-the-job training program. The Physical Therapy Technician's primary function is to assist in carrying out patient-related activities, which are predetermined for each patient and assigned by the professional physical therapist. Assists with patient treatment preparation and general orderly state of the department. Provides secretarial services to the department of Physical Therapy to include transcribing physical therapist's notes, filing, and billing, answering the phone and making appointments. Works only with the continuing supervision and direction of the Chief and Staff Therapists and carries out departmental duties and treatment programs that are delegated to him/her
Qualifications - Minimum
High school graduate or equivalent
Experience in the health care field preferred.
Certification in Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Hours per pay period: 80
Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
