Warehouse Clerk

General Summary:
Receiving Clerk will run the receiving office on their assigned shift. This will include directing truck drivers, entering receipts, ordering materials from storage, creating non- conformance's, answering the phone, write PO's for ship outs to storage and dunnage loads. The Receiving Clerk may also need to assist hourly employees with SAP or other technical issues.
Principal Accountabilities:
+ Receive in Drop and Bulk Loads
+ Direct truck drivers at the door
+ Phone Calls/Radio/E mail
+ Create orders from outside storage
+ Ship orders to storage/ship outs to other plants
+ Dunnage Loads
+ Enter vendor Non-conformance
+ Freezer Pull list
+ Office organization and files
+ Employee assistance
+ Team meeting
Job Complexity:
+ Identify a material shortage for upcoming production and place and order to return material from storage
+ Solve SAP receipt errors
+ When the doors get backed up drivers will need to be prioritized
Job Specifications:
Minimum education and experience required:
+ High School education required, Associate Degree desired
+ Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience:
Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
+ Good Microsoft Excel skills
+ Strong attention to details
+ Good oral and written communication skills
+ Knowledge of SAP is an asset
+ Must handle many different responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
